We are going to have totally four departments including two new, in 2009-2010 education year. Our web site or link belonging to our school in the main page of the University (http://www.sdu.edu.tr) has been used for registered students to assign in the system.

The Web-site of Distance Learning Vocational School is http://ue.sdu.edu.tr In the opened window signing is performed with a username and a password. All the people needing to sign in the system such as student affairs, students, advisors, head of the departments use this entrance. Lessons are performed using asynchronous and synchronous platforms. Asynchronous software is an Education Management System formed by enokta Company. In this system students can follow and study the lessons in different times and places independent of their advisors. They can find and study homework, projects, and an interactive lesson content in HTML format.

The lesson content including all the aspects of the subject is available at the beginning of the term on internet. The latter, is Adobe Connect Pro software. The lessons can performed at the same time at different places by means of this. The lecturer attends and lessons are performed in the virtual environments provided. By means of this program afore mentioned, lessons include synchronous visual and voice chats. Lesson advisor can not only share his desktop but also share presentations, web-site, word and pdf documents and white board.

Students must comply with the legal and academic requirements to access the studies in The Süleyman Demirel University according to the process established by the ÖSYM (Higher Education Council Student Selection and Placement Centre) regulations. Students who have started studies in other universities within or outside of the country may apply for their recognition. The recognition record is unique for each student and therefore the procedure is carried out accordingly before the start of each academic year. Under an established exchanges program or one approved by the University, exchange students from abroad may be accepted for studies on the courses taught in English. Or, if they are confident in Turkish, they may then enrol any courses, running in Turkish, shown on the "Course Structure".
